micro-group-shotRaising the Next Generation: Are We Growing Healthy Kids?
Food and Health Forum Dinner Seminar
Blue Moon Evolution, Clifford St, Exeter, NH
Monday, March 24, 2014
6:30 – 9 pm

We all have a role to play in growing healthy kids. The battle is clear: more and more kids are confronting obesity, diabetes, and other chronic diseases. Everyone plays a part, including government, schools, health care professionals, private companies, and parents. Are we doing enough? Why is it all so confusing? Join in a “community style” dinner to look at the social, cultural, and health aspects of the Standard American Diet.

Featuring:
• Mary Ann Esposito, the creator and host of the nationally televised PBS series Ciao Italia with Mary Ann Esposito™.
• Kathy Gunst, chef, food writer, and resident chef of WBUR’s Here & Now on National Public Radio.
• Joanne Curran-Celentano, Professor of Nutritional Sciences at the University of New Hampshire.
• Sally Sampson, founder and president of ChopChop, a quarterly magazine dedicated to reversing and preventing childhood obesity.

Registration Fee: $60, includes 3-course meal.
