Food policy has a big impact on our community, but it can be hard to keep up with what's going on. To make it easier, we post bi-monthly updates of food policy happenings in the Granite State so you can stay in the know!

👉 The Public Health Emergency declaration which granted SNAP recipients with supplementary allotments will end in October.
👉 Universal school meals are no longer available in the state of New Hampshire due to nationwide pandemic waivers not being extended.
👉 There is encouraging legislation being proposed via a bill titled the Healthy Meals, Healthy Kids Act (HR 8450) which includes provisions for school meals, WIC, Summer EBT, Tribal provisions, food and nutrition education, standards, and sustainability, and more.
