Hello, Goodbye, and Welcome Back!

Caty, Leo, and Sarah

As the summer market season is about to begin, we wanted to catch everyone up on some of the changes (all good!) in the faces you’ll see around Seacoast Eat Local at our SNAP/EBT booth at the Exeter and Portsmouth markets.

We bid Caty Wilkey a bittersweet goodbye with congratulations on an amazing new job and thanks for an amazing job well done for Seacoast Eat Local. Leo Smock-Randall, our Winter Market Manager, will be stepping in to fill her shoes at the SNAP booth between now and the end of July. Starting in August, Sarah Jacobson will be back to coordinating the SNAP program (she’s been busy becoming a Dietician! and running the Seacoast Harvest project on top of that!) and Leo will pick up where he left off at the helm of the Winter Markets.

Seacoast Eat Local is growing and we’re super psyched about it, because it means we’ll be better able to work on our mission of connecting everybody with local food all year long. It also means we could really use some office space for our amazing, friendly, easy to get along with staff members. We haven’t grown enough yet to have the budget for that, so we’re just putting this out there and seeing what comes of it – our dream is office space for two staff members in the Durham/Dover/Newmarket type area (since we’re asking, we’re flexible!). This could be a very wonderful in-kind donation for your place of business / organization. Email sarazoe@seacoasteatlocal if you have any ideas for us!
