Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Manchester, NH
Tuesday, November 13, 2012
10:30 am – 2:30 pm

The Rooting for Families Community Garden serves Manchester families giving them a place to grow food. It was developed in May behind Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Manchester. Two of our new Natural Resource Stewards will be helping lead this project that will put the gardens to bed using permaculture techniques, and also expanding the new beds. Please join us and bring your friends and family! All are welcome! We can use all the help we can get. Snacks will be provided and you may want to bring a lunch (although there is a cafe on site). Also we really need you to bring tools!!!!

• Especially, wheelbarrows or garden carts and/or tarps to help move organic material, onto the garden! Along with:
• Shovels
• Rakes
• Hedge clippers or loppers to cut back plants
• Gardening gloves

If you are interested in carpooling from the Seacoast email or call Stephanie at [email protected] or 603-300-8172. Please RSVP by email so we know how much help we can expect!

Update: Due to weather, the cleanup is postponed until Sunday, November 18th.
