Kids and Families: Local Roots Food Fair July 17th at the Children’s Museum of NH

Children’s Museum and Hannaford Present Local Roots Food Fair on July 17th

The Children’s Museum of NH, in partnership with Hannaford Supermarkets, will present its third annual Local Roots Food Fair on Wednesday, July 17 from 11 am – 2 pm at the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire in Dover. This informative indoor event is free with paid admission.

As a celebration of the abundance of locally-grown food, visitors can taste fresh and delicious samples of the products featured in Hannaford’s “Close To Home” program. There will also be coupons and recipes so families can try new ways to enjoy these foods at home. The Organic Roadies team from Stonyfield will also be on hand, sampling a variety of milk and yogurt products. There will be additional information on local growers, and everyone can check out the Museum’s outdoor fruit and vegetable gardens.

The Children’s Museum of NH is open seven days a week during the summer: Sundays from 12 – 5 pm and Mondays through Saturdays from 10 am – 5 pm. Admission is $9 per person for children and adults, $8 for seniors, and no charge for babies under 12 months old.
