NHDAMF Division of Weight and Measures Scale Clinics

The Division of Weights & Measures will be holding their annual scale clinics for anyone who grows & sells their own agricultural products and who uses a scale commercially at farmers’ markets or at a farm stand in New Hampshire. The inspection & certification is free to growers who have three or fewer scales under 100 lb. capacity and no other commercial devices. In addition to the inspection, Weights & Measures staff will provide information or answer questions with regard to method of sale, taking a tare, registered service companies, and the licensure process.

Attendees should bring:

  • Legal-for-trade scale & any necessary accessories
  • Scale license (If you have one)
  • Renewals or Payments if necessary (no credit cards accepted)
