Winter Farmers’ Market in Rollinsford, March 23

So Much Happening at the Last Rollinsford Market of the Season!

While we still have one April market in Exeter remaining in our season, Saturday, March 23rd will be our last Winter Farmers’ Market this year at Wentworth Greenhouses in Rollinsford, and we want to say a huge thank you to everyone there! The staff members at Wentworth Greenhouses help make these markets fantastic, and we appreciate all of their enthusiasm and hard work. Thank you again!

It’s absolutely amazing how much we’ve got going on at this market, which will be taking place from 10am-2pm in Rollinsford. Over fifty farmers and vendors will be ready to supply you not only with seasonal produce and homemade goods, but also get you ready for the spring holidays, with lamb for Passover, ham for Easter, as well as apples, spring greens, breads, pies, chocolate, and eggs. Customers often ask about local white eggs for the holiday, and now is the time to start gathering them. Many farms sell mixed colors in each dozen. Because fresh eggs can keep for five weeks in the refrigerator, you can buy more than you plan to eat immediately, and set aside the white ones to dye at Easter.
